MapleRank IT Solutions ("MapleRank", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through maplerank.ca, how we use it and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in a form, email us, call us or book a meeting, we collect what you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, business details and your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, mainly for security and troubleshooting. We may also use analytics tools to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes
- To deliver services you've hired us for and communicate about them
- To keep the website secure and working properly
- To understand and improve how the website is used
- To meet legal and accounting obligations
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for purposes you haven't agreed to.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the website and our business. They only process your information to provide their service to us. These include our web host, our form-processing service (Web3Forms), Google (for email, calendar bookings and Google Search Console) and analytics providers. Some of these providers may store data outside Canada, in which case it may be subject to the laws of those countries.
Cookies
Our website is built to work without advertising or tracking cookies. If we add tools that use cookies in future, we'll update this policy.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client information for as long as needed to deliver our services and meet legal and tax requirements. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it, subject to legal limits. Email admin@maplerank.ca and we'll respond within 30 days.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access to client data. No system is completely secure, so please don't send passwords or highly sensitive information through our forms.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
